Lunar Eclipse

IMG_1947_1

Yesterday there was a full lunar eclipse, and of course I had to go outside and take some shots. Here are the outcomes, combined in a  collage. Unfortunately I do not have a tripod, so taking completely clear pictures was really hard. In the first two hours after the official start at 9:45pm, based on information from the Griffith Observatory, nothing happened. But then it started. I have never seen a lunar eclipse before, and I guess that we were quite lucky that the weather here in LA was perfect for it, hardly any clouds. It almost looked like the moon was eaten, really cool 🙂
